For nearly 20 years, National TrailFest has been a premier off-road event for Side by Side, ATV, and dirt bike enthusiasts. Held in the beautiful small town of Gilbert, WV each October, TrailFest combines a jam packed schedule of activities with direct trail access to some of the best trails in the world, on the world famous Hatfield-McCoy Trails. Each year thousands of people pack the town of Gilbert and take part in the fun. Some of the great activities of TrailFest include:

TrailFest Participant Packages
Event packages are just
$55 ($50 through September 30) for adults and $45 ($40 through September 30) for children 12 and under. In addition, participants must have a Hatfield-McCoy Trail Permit to ride the trails (under 6 not permitted on the trails, no exceptions). Event Trail Permits are $35 (valid from October 5-12, 2020), Annual Permits are also available. If you already have your Trail Permit, well then, you’re covered!
TrailFest On-Site Camping & Other Ammenities
On-Site Standard Campsites are available for $35 per night, per site. These sites are limited and do sell out prior to the event, so book early! Overflow Camping is available off-site but near the event for $35 each night, per site. All Campsites are 23ft x 33ft and DO NOT have power. Generators are recommended if power is needed. There are many lodges and camping in and around the town of Gilbert. However, due to the event’s popularity, lodges do book well in advance. You can give us a call if you have trouble finding a room and we’ll try our best to let you know what’s available. Area lodging can be found at www.trailsheaven.com. TrailFest Meal Packages
Add a Meal Package to your event for just $60. This includes (4) country style meals and (1) continental breakfast. Country Style Breakfasts are served on Friday and Saturday mornings from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.. Country Style Dinners are served on Friday and Saturday evenings from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.. A Continental Breakfast is served on Sunday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m..
Hatfield-MCoy Trails & Maps
TrailFest is located in the town of Gilbert, an OHV friendly town. From the event, you can legally ride your machine within the town limits and directly access the Rockhouse Trail System of the world famous Hatfield-McCoy Trails. Rockhouse, now links directly to the Devil Anse Trail System and then directly to the Buffalo Mountain Trail System. - Beginning in Charleston West Virginia, take exit 58A to merge onto US-119 S toward Oakwood Rd/Logan – 53.1 mi.
- Take the W Virginia 73 exit toward W Virginia 10/Logan – 0.3 mi.
- Turn left at W Virginia 73 E – 2.3 mi.
- Turn left to stay on W Virginia 73 E – 0.6 mi.
- Continue onto W Virginia 10 S/Logan Blvd.
- Continue to follow W Virginia 10 S to Man – 14.3 mi.
- Turn Right onto W Virginia 80 S – 0.2 mi.

The Hatfield-McCoy Trails, the Town of Gilbert, and the Larry Joe Harless Community Center welcomes vendors to the National Trail Fest Event. Based on over nineteen years of success, the Hatfield-McCoy National TrailFest event is projected to bring more than 2500 trail riding participants and more than 2500 local and regional spectators.
